Deadman’s Shove Goes Uncalled

Martin Sturc is in middle position and he gets the betting started with a raise to 1,150. The next couple of players do not want to continue in the hand, but Franco Cantarella calls from the cutoff. Next to act is Simon Deadman who has the button and he wastes no time in moving all in for what turns out to be 13,200. Sturc folds but Cantarella says something inaudible to Deadman before flashing the [5c] at him and letting his hand go.

That was a nice little boost for Deadman who has struggled to get above starting stack today.
