Day 1C comes to an end with 208 players remaining from a field of 367, and the chipleader appears to be Aaron Shepard (pictured), who finished with 250,000 (313 big blinds).

The full list of official chip counts will soon be released by Playground’s tournament staff, and they will be posted here in the live updates as soon as possible.

Some of the notables who bagged up today were WPT Champions Club member Victor Ramdin (175,000), WPT500 Montreal champion Bradley Smith (171,200), Season 16 WPT Player of the Year Art Papazyan (129,200), four-time WPT champion Darren Elias (112,500), Kristen Bicknell (80,200), two-time WPT champion Eric Afriat (73,000), and current WPT Player of the Year points leader Aaron Van Blarcum (58,600).

This flight increases the overall field to 888, which includes an online flight that was played on partypoker. Registration remains open until the start of Level 13, around 4:30 pm tomorrow, and players are allowed one entry and one re-entry per day.

The prizepool is guaranteed to be worth at least CAD 3,000,000, and the payouts will be released after registration closes on Day 2.
