Day 1B in Marrakech Finished

Sep 28, 2018

Fewer than 100 players bagged up chips after 12 levels of play on Day 1B and there is little doubt over the chip leader position, as Kamel Atoui claims a massive 334,000 and takes over the tournament lead. Krijn Broskij also lost the last hand to Atoui, sneaking into Day 2 with a mere 46,000 and he will have plenty of work ahead to make the money.

Along with the 161 entries on Day 1A and today’s 270 entries on Day 1B, a field of 431 emerged and that is just two entries shy of the record set last year. A list of notable chip counts and a recap of today’s action is to follow.
