Day 1B Concludes with Rajasekar Govindan Leading

Day 1B of the Season XVIII WPT Maryland at Live! Casino has come to a conclusion with the 176-entrant field reduced down to 89 players.

Rajasekar Govindan grabbed the chip lead on the final hand of the day when he check-raised the river in a pot against David Stefanski to finish with 220,400. Sitting behind Govindan is Ken Adams (200,900), Ronald Hunt (181,100), and Ed Sebesta (177,700) who also managed to bag chips on Day 1A.

Some of the players also surviving Day 1B include WPT Champions Club member Anthony Gregg, Erkut Yilmaz, and WPTDeepStacks Champion Faraz Jaka.
