David "Bakes" Baker Shortens Caleb Shumard

Caleb Shumard has build one of the largest stacks in the room with just six tables left in play, but a recent three-way pot has shortened his stack a bit.

Wing Liu raises in the cutoff and gets three-bet by David “Bakes” Baker on the button. Shumard calls from the big blind, as does Liu.

Shumard draws one while his opponents each take two. Shumard then leads out with a bet that gets called by both opponents.

Shumard now draws one while Liu stays pat and baker draws one as well.

After leading in the previous betting round, Shumard now checks, as does Liu. Baker however now bets, which gets calls from both, keeping the pot three ways to the final draw.

Shumard again draws one, Liu breaks his hand and also takes one, but now it’s baker staying pat.

Everyone checks and after Shumard and Liu can only show a jack, Backer reveals his for the winner to take a sizeable pot.
