Dario Rusconi has just been eliminated and we now have a preliminary final table of nine players. Andrea Dato raises to 100,000, Rusconi moves all-in and Dato makes the call.

Rusconi was in fine fettle until the jack in the box jumped out on the flop – [Js] [9s] [8h]. The [Qh] and [4h] followed and after the chip stacks were counted Rusconi was left with 7,000 chips. These went into the pot (blind) in the very next hand and he found himself heads-up against Michele Caroli.
