Dante Peykar Flew From Sweden to Win WPT Korea; Now Leads with 270K

During the last break, Dante Peykar (pictured) wanted to go on the record to say, “One hundred percent, you will see me win this tournament.” He said that he got a feeling that he was going to win this tournament, WPT Korea, and he flew here all the way from Sweden just to fulfill his destiny.

Peykar also added that when he wins, there will be “No chops, no deals.”

Well, Peykar has continued to run very well since then, and has knocked out nine players so far this tournament — averaging about one every level. And now Peykar is neck-and-neck with Daisuke Ogita for the lead with 240,000 in chips.
