Daniel Colman Doubles Through Tom Hall

Jan 3, 2016

On a flop of Spade QClub 9Heart 5, Tom Hall bets 40,000 from under-the-gun and Daniel Colman calls on the button. The turn is the Heart 6 and Hall continues his aggression, this time betting 60,000.

Colman calls again and the river is the Diamond 10. Hall moves all in and Colman quickly calls. Hall is visibly unhappy about the call and moves his hand towards the muck face-down before showing pocket sevens. Colman tables Heart QClub Q, giving him a set of queens and doubles up. The dealer pulls in the stacks and verifies that Colman is all in for 152,000.

Hall pays off Colman is left on a severely short stack.

“It’s going to be an expensive day today,” said Hall at the conclusion of the hand.

Hall is eliminated shortly after and re-bought with about 15 minute left in the day. He is on his third bullet of the tournament.

Daniel Colman – 535,000
Tom Hall – 200,000
