Dan Stavila Gets There on Tomas Patka & Eliminates Khac Nguyen in Monster Pot

Khac Nguyen moves all in preflop for 72,000 and is called by Tomas Patka, but then Dan Stavila raises the price of poker to 185,000. 

Patka makes the call and the three players go to a flop of , which sees a check from Patka, a bet of 72,000 from Stavila, and a call from Patka. 

Both players then check through the turn and go to the river , putting four hearts on the board to go along with the one-liner to a straight. 

Both players then quickly check their cards at the same time and Patka leads for 100,000 and Stavila thinks about it for around ten seconds. 

“Ok, I’ll stop wasting time,” he says, and just calls, tabling for the nut flush. Patka is in disbelief as he shows for the jack-high flush and straight flush blocker, but has to watch as all of the chips are shipped over to Stavila. Nguyen is also left shaking his head as he has for a turned straight as well. 

“I really don’t think I’m getting called by worse if I ship, just something I don’t want to do on the bubble,” Stavila explains as his  stack surpasses the million mark.
