Congratulations, Xuan Liu!

The field for the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em preliminary event of the Fallsview Poker Classic was another record break, with over 700 entries and 90 players finishing in the money.

The player finishing with the most money was poker pro Xuan Liu, who topped the field to take home the top payday of more than CAD $300,000. The score is nice, but the one downside for Liu is the tournament’s final table an late into the night, so she will not be able to play in the WPT main event.

Given the substantial score and fancy trophy, it is probably safe to say Liu is pretty happy with how things turned out.
