ClubWPT Qualifier Anita Dahlstrom Eliminated After Some Bad Beats

Anita Dahlstrom earned her entry into this $3,500 buy-in event by playing on ClubWPT.com. Dahlstrom had to outlast a huge field to win the VIP package to get here, but unfortunately, the cards weren’t nearly as gracious to her today.

In the first hand of the day, Dahlstrom received pocket kings, and her hand looked strong until an ace hit the river. Sure enough, at showdown, her opponent turned over . So Dahlstrom started the day in a hole.

Then, about 40 minutes into the first level, Dahlstrom flopped a full house. But it just wasn’t her day, because her opponent rivered a larger full house, and that’s when they got it all in. Dahlstrom was eliminated.

Dahlstrom took the bad beats in stride, and her attitude remains upbeat. Now she is heading to the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Room to check out the cash games.
