Chuck Kim Cashes In His First WPT Event Played

Jan 17, 2009

The record for most hands at a final table without an elimination came two years ago at the World Poker Open in Tunica Mississippi when JC Tran busted out in 6th place at hand 94. Here, at the 2009 Southern Poker Championship we were only one hand away from tying that record.

On hand 93 of the final table, Chuck Kim is eliminated from his first World Poker Tour event in 6th place. For the third time Soheil Shamseddin called an all in from Kim with the worst hand, but for Shamseddin the third time was a charm as he hit his three outer on the river to take down the pot. After the hand Shamseddin takes the chip lead yet again with over 3,000,000.
