Harold Brooks opens up the action with a bet of 1,200, Chris Converoy and Huawei Sun make the call before Andrea Cornelli moves all-in for 15,000 in the big blind. Brooks makes the call, Converoy makes the call (putting himself all-in) and Sun folds. When the hands are overturned everyone thinks Cornelli has gone slightly mad.

Cornelli: [7d] [3x]
Converoy: [Ad] [Jx]
Brooks: [Ax] [Kx]

The flop is [Qd] [8d] [5d] to give Converoy the nut flush draw. The turn is the [6x] to hand Cornelli a straight draw, but it’s still Brooks’ pot unless the river changes things. The dealer burns and then turns the [3x] and incredibly Cornelli triples up eliminating Converoy and sending steam out of the ears of Brooks.

Cornelli ~ 45,000
Brooks ~ 20,000
