Cary Moomjian Eliminated in 26th Place ($18,513); Michael Stashin Above 5 Million

Bryan Campanello raises to 55,000 from under the gun, Michael Stashin three-bets to 125,000 from the next seat over, Cary Moomjian (pictured above) calls from the big blind, and Campanello folds.

The flop comes down Spade AClub 8Diamond 5 and Moomjian checks to Stashin who bets 90,000. Moomjian calls.

The turn is the Diamond J, Moomjian leads for 350,000, Shashin raises all in with a covering stack, and Moomjian calls all in for about 900,000 total.

The river is the Heart 5, ending Moomjian’s tournament in 26th place and giving Stashin nearly 20% of the chips in play.

“I watched the hand and I don’t know what I just saw. If I knew it wasn’t collusion, I would think it’s collusion,” comments Campanello after the hand.

“I can’t explain it,” says Stashin.
