Break for the Final Four Players

Aug 22, 2022

In the last two hands before the end of the level, the action escalates but doesn’t result in an all-in showdown.

Chi Jen “Justin” Chu raises to 500,000 as the first player to act and David Erquiaga three-bets to 1,400,000 in the small blind. Junnie Pamplona then four-bet jams for 8,600,000 and Chu uses two time bank extensions before folding, Erquiaga also lets go.

Pamplona then raises to 550,000 on the button and Chu calls in the small blind. Jean Robert Autran three-bet jams for 5,325,000 in the big blind and Pamplona instantly asks for a count while vaulting out of his seat.

No call follows, as Pamplona and Chu both fold. Below are the stack sizes and updated big blinds for the next level after the current 15-minute break.

Junnie Pamplona – 10,075,000 (34 bb)
David Erquiaga – 7,475,000 (25 bb)
Chi Jen “Justin” Chu – 7,175,000 (24 bb)
Jean Robert Autran – 6,675,000 (22 bb)
