A Tough River Decision for Gerin

Hairabedian the Younger (Roger’s son Gregory) has just been causing some consternation for a member of the Team Pro PMU Poker team: Rebecca Gerin. Here is the action.

Brian Benhamou opens the action with a 400 raise, Rebecca Gerin three-bets to 1,050 from the button, Gregory Hairabedian calls in the small blind as does Benhamou.

Flop: [4d] [2s] [2c]

The action checks through to the golden haired Gerin and she makes it 1,300, Hairabedian calls and Benhamou folds.

Turn: [6c]

Hairabedian check-calls a 2,400 Gerin double barrel.

River: [9c]

Hairabedian checks, Gerin fires her third barrel worth 3,500 but this time Hairabedian has a surprise waiting for her. He check-raises to 12,000 and Gerin doesn’t like it one little bit. After a few moments of self murmur she makes the call and Hairabedian mucks when he sees the pocket aces of his opponent.

"Nice move," says a clearly agitated Gerin. She was not too happy about that move on the river by Hairabedian.
