Tournament Rules
Action Clock:
Action Clocks following level 12. Time extension chips will accumulate and not be reset. See additional Action Clock Rules for more details.
Ante Format (Big Blind Ante):
Single ante will be posted by the player in the big blind. Big blind comes before the ante when a player has less than a big blind and ante amount, per new TDA recommendation.
Breaks:
Players will have a 15-minute break every three levels on Day 1.
Buy-In & Fees:
$500 + $90
Late Registration:
Registration closes at the start of Level 7 on Day 1s.
Levels, Per Day:
Level length will be 40 minutes. Final Table will be 60 minute levels. Levels will be 30 minutes when tournament has 2 players remaining.
Payouts:
One in eight (1-in-8) entries will be in the money, playing down to 10% each Day 1. Day 1 payouts 12.5%-10.1% will result in a payout of $1,000
Players Per Table:
Play will start with 9-handed tables where space available and will move to 8-handed on Day 2.
Players Card & Players Releases:
In order to play in the event, each player must sign the WPT Player Release Form and have the Playground Rewards Card.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
If a player entered into any starting day and has been eliminated from the tournament, the player may re-enter or register for a subsequent starting day. If there are multiple bags, the lower stack will be forfeited, resulting in a minimum payout (if applicable).
Rules:
Tournament Directors Association (TDA) rules will be used, unless House Rules apply. Please, see tournament staff for House Rules. Participation in WPT tournaments is subject to rules and rulings set forth by the applicable venue(s) and/or WPT (e.g., tournament rules, sponsors). Tournament Director’s decisions are final.
