It was an eventful Tuesday with the WPT Online India (WPTOI) series spearheading the online MTT action. PokerGuru Ambassadors stole the show yesterday, bagging an incredible four titles between them alongside several other deep runs!

The ₹13.50 Crores GTD World Poker Tour (WPT) Online India (WPTOI) series continues to dole out massive prizes on Adda52. Day 6 of the series had nine side events on the day`s schedule!
The biggest draw at the WPTOI was the only WPT Trophy event of the day, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD WPT Tuesday Feature. The ₹3,850 entry buy-in tourney signed up 525 entries to post a guarantee-crushing ₹18.38 Lakhs prize pool. Trailblazing his way through the reg-laden field was none other than PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja, who went on to win his first-ever WPT Trophy and ₹3.63 Lakhs in prize money. Mohit ‘tinda2706’ Mittal pocketed ₹3.35 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.

One of the biggest winners of the year, Ahuja, is currently a close #6 behind Anant Purohit (#5) in the yearly rankings with ₹2.89 Crores in recorded earnings. With a whopping ₹5.95 Crores in lifetime winnings, he is within touching distance of making it to the elite “6 Crore-Club.”
The other marquee tourney at the WPTOI, the ₹8 Lakhs GTD WPT Mini 6-Max, drew 428 hopefuls to collect ₹8.56 Lakhs in the prize pool. PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘emperor457’ Veeravalli, who was already on the FT of The Race, took down his first WPT Online title in the event to win ₹1.89 Lakhs. Sanjeeta ‘realkidsanju’ Kumari collected ₹1.51 Lakhs for her runner-up finish, courtesy of a heads-up deal.
The other headliner of the day, the daily ₹5 Lakhs GTD WPT Classic, was shipped by the anonymous user ‘Agreykapetha’ for their best-recorded finish on Adda52 worth ₹1.02 Lakhs. The player struck a heads-up deal with ‘LuvAA’ (runner-up for ₹99,219). The afternoon tourney ended up filling in an overlay of ₹49,550 after registering 330 entries.

The only WPT Trophy event on the Tuesday schedule was the ₹3,850 entry buy-in ₹15 Lakhs GTD WPT Tuesday Feature. The tourney began at 8 PM, and 525 signups (265 unique and 260 re-entries) helped generate a smashing ₹18.37 Lakhs prize money, making it one of the few flagships that escaped the overlay avalanche yesterday.
It took almost seven-and-a-half hours of play for the field to whittle down to a heads-up finale between PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja and Mohit ‘tinda2706’ Mittal. The duo quickly shook hands on a deal before Ahuja claimed the title for ₹3.63 Lakhs, with Mittal placing runner-up for ₹3.35 Lakhs.
This is the third significant score for Ahuja in under a week. Last Friday, he had won the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Highroller on PokerStars India for ₹2.49 Lakhs. Ahuja came close to winning a Sunday flagship two days later, placing runner-up in the PokerBaazi-hosted ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS SuperStack for ₹2.98 Lakhs.
The Chandigarh-based pro has already worked up ₹2.89 Crores in winnings across the major poker platforms this year and proudly features among the top-ranked players on the annual leaderboard. Last night`s victory run has brought him even closer to the ₹6 Crore-mark in lifetime recorded earnings, with his current tally standing at ₹5.95 Crores.
Tarun ‘aggtarun’ Goyal (3rd for ₹1.74 Lakhs), Arpan ‘distroyer’ Majhi (4th for ₹1.37 Lakhs), Rahul ‘rahulpalawat’ Jain (5th for ₹91,875), Neeraj ‘kumartomar’ Kumar (6th for ₹64,313) and Manash ‘Ravenclaws’ Kalita (7th for ₹45,938) were the other prominent FT scorers.

A guarantee-busting 428 entries (233 entries and 195 re-entries) came in to play the ₹2,200 buy-in WPT Mini 6-Max that started at 10 PM on Tuesday.
Rising atop the field over the next six hours of play was PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘emperor457’ Veeravalli. The cash game specialist, who had entered the Millionaire’s Club last month, added a WPT Online title to his tally with the win.
Last night, he struck a heads-up deal with Sanjeeta ‘realkidsanju’ Kumari (runner-up for ₹1.51 Lakhs) before adding ₹1.89 Lakhs to his bankroll.
Less than 30 minutes after winning the WPT Mini 6-Max, Veeravalli clinched a second tourney title in Spartan Poker’s The Race for ₹1.41 Lakhs, earning a cumulative ₹3.30 Lakhs for the day!

The anonymous player ‘Agreykapetha’ agreed to a heads-up chop with ‘LuvAA’ (runner-up for ₹99,219) before taking down the title for ₹1.02 Lakhs. This happens to be the winner’s first-ever title on the site and his best-recorded finish on Adda52.
