The final table of the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star kicks off at 4pm PT and promises to provide an exciting evening of poker action and dramatic stories.
Leading the way at this final table is chip leader Paul Volpe, who is at his second WPT final table in just two weeks. Volpe, who finished second at the recent WPT LA Poker Classic, is the first player ever to start back-to-back WPT final tables as the chip leader. Sitting in second place is poker legend Erik Seidel, a WPT Champions Club member and eight-time WSOP bracelet winner.
Rounding out the final table is an impressive collection of pros and amateurs, all with an excellent shot of taking down this title. The day’s table draw and chip counts are below:
- Seat 1: Joe Nguyen – 2,175,000
- Seat 2: Erik Seidel – 3,435,000
- Seat 3: Chris Johnson – 2,740,000
- Seat 4: Paul Volpe – 5,525,000
- Seat 5: WeiKai Chang – 2,540,000
- Seat 6: Joe Kuether – 2,830,000
