On Sunday, Didier Obigand topped the final table of the PMU.fr WPT National Cannes Main Event final table, earning €90,000. The Frenchman defeated Brit Anthony Kelly heads up to win the title and the lion’s share of the €419,232 prize pool. For his efforts, Kelly earned €61,500.
WPT Raw Deal analyst and partypoker ambassador Tony Dunst finished in third place, earning €39,000. Dunst now has nearly $2.5 million in career live tournament earnings.
The PMU.fr WPT National Cannes Main Event attracted 397 players, including Jean -Michel Ploch, Suat Uyanik Brian Benhamou, Dugimont François Vincent Rutte, Enzo Pescatore and Damien Chenna.
