Jason Riley raises to 50,000 in middle position and gets calls from Matthew Johnson in the hijack and Mingrui Cen in the small blind.

The flop comes Diamond QDiamond 8Diamond 5 and after a check from Cen, Riley bets 80,000. Johnson calls, and Cen check-raises to 220,000. Both opponents call and the pot is huge already.

It grows further on the Spade A turn as after another check from Cen, Riley bets again, this time for 350,000, leaving himself 75,000 behind. Johnson calls and Cen goes into the tank.

After using a couple of time banks, he folds his hand leaving the pot heads-up.

The Diamond 9 completes the board and Riley moves in his last 75,000. Johnson shrug-calls to see that he lost on the river.

Riley shows Club ADiamond K for a flopped top pair, top kicker that turned top two pair, and then improved to the nut flush on the river.

Johnson claims that he had a set as the huge pot is pushed to Riley, moving him solidly into second place behind Timothy Chung.

Jason Riley – 1,600,000 (80 bb)
Matthew Johnson – 580,000 (29 bb)
Mingrui Cen – 970,000 (48 bb)
