Zak Rose Finishes Off Peter Thorpe

Not long after doubling through Peter Thorpe, Zak Rose got the rest of his foe’s chips, sending him out the door and off to the pub as Thorpe told the WPT Live Reporting team.

Following a raise in early position to 2,000 by Rose and a call from John Engledow in the small blind, Thorpe moves in his last 17,000 from the big blind. 

Rose then slides forward a stack of yellow T-5,000 chips and Engledow folds to leave Thorpe’s fate to Rose.

Thorpe is poised to double until the flop comes , with the six right in the window for Rose. The runout completes Rose’s demolition of Thorpe who went from a six-figure stack to out the door.
