In the last hand of the previous level, Michael Gordon Smith raises under the gun to 1,200, Zhi Feng Jiang calls from middle position, and the next player to act calls all in for just 300. Ruben Perceval calls from the button, and Stephen Oates calls from the big blind.

There is 2,000 in the main pot, and another 3,600 in the side pot. Any additional betting will go into the side pot.

The flop comes Heart 9Diamond 5Club 5, Oates checks, and Smith bets 2,500. Jiang calls, and Perceval and Oates both fold.

The turn card is the Diamond 4, Smith checks, Jiang bets 4,500, and Smith calls.

The river card double-pairs the board with the Spade 4, Smith checks, Jiang bets 14,500, and Smith tanks for a long time before he folds. Jiang takes the side pot worth 17,600.

For the main pot, the short stack has Spade QClub 10 for the two pair on the board with a queen kicker, but Jiang turns over Spade 5Heart 5 to win the entire pot with quad fives, eliminating the short stack.
