The World Poker Tour has returned to Aix-en-Provence after a successful debut last year for the WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence.
Once again, this will be €1,100 buy-in event, with four starting flights over the next three days (Thursday, Friday, and two flights on Saturday). Action begins at 12:00 noon each day, and registration remains open with one entry and one re-entry until the start of Level 10, around 6:45 pm.
Last year’s event was held in August, and it attracted a field of 457 entries, generating a total prizepool worth €438,720. Samy Boujmala was the last player standing, winning the title, the trophy, and €93,580.
Players begin with 50,000 in chips, and blinds begin at 100-200 and a big blind ante of 200.
The first three starting flights will play as many 40-minute levels as it takes to reach the final 12.5%, and everyone who advances to Day 2 will finish in the money, so the end-of-day bubble will also be the Money Bubble. Day 1D is a turbo flight that starts at 8:00 pm on Saturday, and will play as many 20-minute levels as it takes to reach the final 12.5% of the flight.
Day 2 will begin at 13:00 CET on Sunday, and the field will play as many one-hour levels as it takes to reach the final nine players for the WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence final table.
The final table is scheduled to begin on Monday at 13:00 CET and play down to a winner.
Thursday, February 1, 12:00 noon: Day 1A
