Rebecca Gerin: Another Talented French Lady

The French ladies have been playing a starring role in world poker of late. Lucille Cailly finished as the runner-up in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final in Monte Carlo and Gaelle Baumann finished in 10th place at this years World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Another talented French lady of poker is Rebecca Gerin, and here she is taking a pot down from a table shared with David Benyamine.

There is a raise to 400 from first position and a three-bet to 1,175 in the next seat. Gerin is seated on the button, and she makes the call, as does the initial raiser. The flop is a lowly looking [8h] [4s] [2d], the first raiser checks, the three-bettor bets 2,025, Gerin calls and the initial raiser folds. That’s the end of the action as the [6s] and [9h] are checked through and Gerin takes the pot holding [Tc] [Ts].
