Meszaros & Lilienthal Leave

Nov 15, 2012

Two quick eliminations for you. The quickest one to discuss is the elimination of Erez Lilienthal, because we didn’t see it. We do know that the chip leader, Frei Dilling Kjaer, was responsible for his demise though.

The second player to be eliminated is Tamas Meszaros. Sergii Baranov raises to 8,000 in early position, Emil Olsson calls in the hijack before Meszaros moves all-in for 64,500. The small blind folds, but Martin Tonnesen calls from the big. Both Baranov and Olsson skip out of the way and we have a showdown.

Showdown

Tonnesen: [Jc] [Jh]
Meszaros: [Ad] [Ts]

Board: [Qh] [Qs] [2h] [Kc] [Qc]

No ace for Meszaros and Tonnesen now has 410,000 chips. Kjaer extends his lead at the top to 770,000.
