Julien Piron Shortens Once Mighty Stack of Bashkim Nexhipi

Domenico Di Secli opens to 4,000 in the cutoff and gets called by Bashkim Nexhipi in the small blind. Julien Piron then three-bets to 22,000 in the big blind which only gets a call from Nexhipi.

On the flop, Nexhipi open-jams his over 100,000 chip stack and Piron quickly calls to put his approximately 60,000 chip stack at risk.

Piron needs his top pair, top kicker to hold against his Nexhipi’s open-ended straight draw to win a huge pot.

Following the runout of it does, and Piron drops Nexhipi down to just over 20 big blinds, which would disappear shortly thereafter.
