Hands #169-171: Amit Tejura Runs Out of Time

Hand #169: Amit Tejura raises to 1,000,000 and folds to a shove by Prasit Chowdhury.

Hand #170: Chowdhury opens to 1,600,000 on the button, four times the big blind. Tejura lets go and Chowdhury wins the pot.

Hand #171: Tejura raises the button to 1,000,000 and Chowdhury comes along to the flop. Chowdhury check-calls for 900,000 and they check the turn.

Chowdhury leads for 2,000,000 on the river and Tejura ponders about his decision. The entire 30-second action clock runs down and since he has no more time bank extensions, his hand is dead.

Tejura is somewhat confused and the tournament director explains the scenario once more. By winning this pot, the lead of Chowdhury has grown to three-to-one.
