With 66 players remaining and no more than 65 advancing to Day 2, there were three all-in-and-call situations at three different tables, in the first hand of Level 17, with blinds at 5,000-10,000 with a 10,000 ante.

The tournament staff waited until all of the other tables completed their action, and then ran the hands one after the other.

In the first hand, Kiavash Arbabi was down to 11,000 in the big blind, putting in 10,000 for the ante and forced all in for his last 1,000.

Another player limps from middle position for 10,000, the hijack limps, the cutoff limps, and Chi Truong raises from the small blind to 65,000. The three limpers all fold.

Arbabi turns over Heart AHeart J, and he needs it to hold to stay alive against Truong’s Diamond 9Club 4.

The board comes Heart 10Spade 6Diamond 4Club 2Diamond 8, and Truong pairs his four on the flop to win the pot and eliminate Arbabi on the Money Bubble.
