Tony Puccio Eliminated by Shawn Cunix

In a battle of the blinds, Tony Puccio winds up all in from the big blind for about 50,000 with [AsKd] against Champions Club member Shawn Cunix’s [QsQh] in the small blind.

The board runs out [7h5d4c7d3c], no help to Puccio, ending his tournament.

The two embraced in a hug after the hand, as neither is a stranger to Jacksonville. Cunix is the Season X winner of this event, while Puccio is the owner of Bella Vita Italian Restaurant, which coincidentally was the site of the WPT Champions Club dinner last night.

"His restaurant is f***ing delicious," said Cunix.

WPT commentator Mike Sexton was witness to the hand and had this to say.

"Now if he had doubled up through you, you’d be telling everyone the food was terrible," Sexton joked. "You’ll get food poisoning."

The table got a good laugh as Puccio graciously made his exit.
