Congratulations to James Carroll who’s walking home with a brand new WPT title and more than $1.2 million to put in the bank after outlasting an incredibly talented final table to become the 2014 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star champion.
Carroll, a 27-year-old professional player and volunteer firefighter from Henderson, NV, more than doubled his previous live tournament winnings with tonight’s victory, and has earned an entry to next month’s $15,400 WPT World Championship Sponsored by partypoker.
