Seat 1: Chris Park – 490,000

Chris Park is a pro poker player who lives in Seoul, South Korea but he was born in Los Angeles, California. Park turned 27 years old yesterday and the birthday boy celebrated by making his first World Poker Tour final table. He starts in fifth chip-position today so he will have to get his chips moving early. The UC Santa Cruz graduate has been playing poker professionally for the past four years and prior to that he was an English teacher. Park has been playing poker for eight years and he got his start playing the game because his college roommate was an online player. When not playing poker Park likes to travel, snowboard, and play golf. He is also a big fan of his hometown sports teams, the Dodgers and Lakers.



Seat 2: Hyunshik Hun – 376,000

Another young poker professional that was born in the United States at the WPT Korea final table is Hyunshik Yun. The 28-year-old enters play today as the short stack and he scored a double up on the final table bubble to advance to the final day of the tournament. The NYU grad has been playing poker professionally for six years. Hun is also a big sports fan like his friend Chris Park and his other hobbies include wakeboarding. Hun will have his girlfriend Dayoung Lee on his rail for today’s final table. 



Seat 3: Masato Yokosawa – 932,000

Masata Yokosawa is not only the youngest player at the WPT Korea final table he could become one of the youngest WPT champions of all time if he wins tonight. Yokosawa is 21 years and just two weeks old. Although he has only been playing poker for eight months he has played at a skill level that would suggest years of experience to advance to the final table. He enters the final table in second chip-position with 932,000 and he is right on the heels of the chip leader. This is his first WPT event and he has already secured a cash worth $17,100. Yokosawa is from Yokohama, Japan where he works as a business manager.



Seat 4: Chane Kamapanatsanyakorn – 984,000

The chip leader at the final table is Chane Kamapanatsanyakorn from Bangkok, Thailand. He has had a big stack for the majority of the late stages of the tournament and has played solid big-stack strategy during the playdown period of the tournament. Although this is his first WPT event Chane is one of the most experienced players at the final table. The 33-year-old has been playing poker for a decade and he took second at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour event in Seoul earlier this year, a cash that was good for $98,000. Chane is a clothing shop contractor and his previous job was managing computer databases. His hobbies include tennis and golf when he is not playing poker. 



Seat 5: Kosei Ichinose – 715,000

Another player from Japan at today’s final table is Kosei Ichinose from Tokyo. He was born in Kyoto 27 years ago and he comes into play on the final day of the tournament third in chips. Ichinose works in marketing and he has been playing poker for eight years now. Ichinose is also one of the most experienced players at the final table with $227,386 in career earnings to his credit. He won the high roller event at the APPT Seoul stop earlier this year and took home $46,918. Ichinose can top that with a second-place finish or higher tonight.



Seat 6: "Simba" Jae Kyung Sim – 609,000

Jae Kyung Sim also goes by the name "Simba" and he has been another perennial chip leader in the tournament. The 47-year-old poker pro is the elder statesman at the final table. Simba has been playing poker professionally for five years and before that he was a teacher. Simba is originally from Korea but he now lives in Manila in the Philippines. He attended the Incheon Graduate School for his education. Simba is seventh on the all-time cash list for South Korea with $185,033 in career earnings and he will pass $200,000 after today. He won the APPT Main Event in Cebu in the Philippines earlier this year, which was good for $95,487. His hobbies outside of poker include golf.
