"Another Bad Call for Caldo" as Jeff Olyan Doubles Thru James Calderaro

Jeff Olyan raises UTG+1 to 3,500, WPT Champion James Calderaro three-bets from middle position to 8,000, and Olyan moves all in for 15,500. Calderaro is a little surprised, saying he didn’t realize Olyan was that short.

Calderaro calls with , and Olyan turns over . Olyan needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board comes , and Calderaro jokingly shouts “Wheel!” when he only made fives up with an ace kicker. Olyan wins the pot with a higher two pair, tens and fives, to double up in chips.

After the hand, Calderaro smiles and says, “When you write this hand, you should write ‘Another bad call for Caldo.'”
