Romanello Leading the River

We catch the action on the river in an interesting hand between Alban Juen and the WPT Champions Club member Roberto Romanello – the Welshman helping us fill in the blanks.

Kitty Kuo opens the action from midfield, Juen calls in position and so does Romanello in the big blind. The flop is [As] [6d] [4s], Romanello checks, Kuo bets, and both players call. 

The turn is the [9c] and this time the action checks to Juen who bets 9,000, Romanello calls and Kuo leaves the hand.

The river card is the [7h] and Romanello leads for 16,700 – into a pot of around 38,000 – and Juen tanks for a few minutes, eventually calls the clock on himself and then folds when the countdown reaches zero.

Romanello shows [Ts] [5s] for the bluff and now has 60,000; Juen has 22,000.
