Sheets' Threes for the Win

Marvin Rettenmaier raises to 450 from early position, although before he does the player to his left begins to toss out a raise himself. Seeing Rettenmaier’s raise he pulls his chips back and moves to fold, and after the floor is called he is allowed to do so. Tom Sheets then calls the raise from the button as do both of the blinds.

The flop comes [10s][5c][3d]. It checks to Rettenmaier who bets 850 and only Sheets calls. The turn is the [5d]. This time Rettenmaier bets 2,000, and Sheets raises to 6,000. Rettenmaier pauses for a few beats and then calls the raise.

The river is the [9c]. This time Rettenmaier checks and Sheets bets 8,000. Rettenmaier considers about a half-minute and calls, then sees his opponent table [3c][3h] for a full house. Rettenmaier pushes his cards face down toward the dealer.
