While the WPT Legends of Poker resumed Day 2, the LIPS U.S. Ladies’ Poker Championship kicked off its two-day no-limit hold’em tournament with a $290 buy-in.

The field attracted 170 women, creating a total prizepool of $41,225. The final 18 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $660.

First prize is worth $12,785, and the winner will also get the sixth and final seat in Thursday’s televised WPT Foundation Ladies’ Night Invitational.

Royal Flush Girls Brittany Bell and Danielle Ruiz were in the field with bounties — whoever busted them received a Bicycle Casino Legends of Poker jacket.

Other notables in the field include Danielle Andersen, Karina Jett, Barbara Enright, Marsha Waggoner, Julie Le, Renae Garcia, Debbie Perkins, and Kelly O’Hara.
