Romano Drags a Big Pot

Nov 9, 2014

Richard Seymour, Jared Jaffee, and Jay Romano tangle in a big preflop pot that leaves Romano all in for 183,000 chips. When Seymour calls, Jaffee is caught in the middle, and he ducks out of the way. Romano is heads-up for his tournament life, and he shows the [AdAc]. Seymour tables [AhKh], as Jaffee correctly surmises aloud.

There’s a sweat on the turn, but the [Qh8s2c9hJd] board is ultimately safe for Romano’s overpair. He doubles up and then some, knocking Seymour down to about 410,000.
