Noam Muallem Leads the 24 Survivors on Day 1O

Day 1O of WPT500 Los Angeles comes to a conclusion with the 486-entrant field reduced to the final 24 players with Noam Muallem (pictured) the chip leader with 1,191,000 in chips.

Today was the 15th starting flight of 16 and there were 486 total entries taking the total field size to 2,108 with 104 survivors heading into Day 2. The final 12.5% of each starting field finishes in the money, guaranteed at least $900 each, and the final 5% advance to Day 2.

Day 1O saw play end with 27:08 remaining in Level 23 with blinds at 10,000-20,000 and a big blind ante of 20,000. When Day 2 begins, the blinds will roll back to the earliest finish of all the starting flights; currently being 3,000-6,000 with a 6,000-big blind ante.

Day 2 begins on Sunday, January 4, at 1 p.m. (PT) with the 2,310-entrant field seeing just 114 players return. Blinds will be rolled back to Level 18 (3,000-6,000 and a 6,000-big blind ante) and levels will be 40 minutes in duration until the final table of nine is reached.
