Day 1G (Turbo) of Zynga Poker WPT500 Las Vegas comes to a conclusion with the 198-entrant field reduced to just the final ten players with Dr. Robert Rothstein (pictured) the chip leader with 577,000 in chips.

Rothstein climbed to the top of the leaderboard on the money bubble, and although he lost it to a handful of different players, he managed to finish as the top dog once play ended. Also surviving into Day 2 are ClubWPT Qualifiers Jeff Center and Gayle Knorr, along with Zynga Poker VIP Hugh Grant who will be looking to make back-to-back Zynga Poker WPT500 Las Vegas final tables.

Today was the seventh of eight starting flights, and there were 205 entries. The final 12.5% of each starting field finishes in the money, guaranteed at least $900 each, and the final 5% advance to Day 2.
