Three players make it to the turn with the board showing Spade JDiamond 9Spade 8Heart A and about 210K already in the pot.

Yuichiro Harada moves all in from the hijack for 272,000. Kazuhiko Yotsushika tanks for a long time in the cutoff before he calls, and then Tsugunari Toma lets out a deep breath as he rechecks his cards. Toma thinks for a moment before he folds, saying he had ace-ten with the ace of spades.

Harada shows Spade QSpade 9 for a pair of nines with a spade flush draw and a gutshot straight draw, and he’s actually ahead of Yotsushika, who turns over Spade KSpade 7 for a higher spade flush draw.

The river card is the Club 6, and Harada wins the pot with his pair of nines to more than double up in chips.
