Jurgevicius Quadruples Up

Mar 29, 2018

We’ve lost track of how many bullets Terry Jordon has fired today, but in this latest one he was in early position and watched the player under the gun raise to 1,525.

“Just because I have this spare 25 chip,” said Jordon before calling. Another player called before Einius Jurgevicius three-bet all in for 4,150 from the small blind. The big blind folded and all three players called.

The flop came Spade 10Diamond 8Heart 6. It checked to Jordon who moved all in for 10,775. The other two players folded.

“Nine-high like a boss,” said Jordon holding Spade 9Diamond 6 for a pair of sixes. He was up against the Diamond KDiamond 3 of Jurgevicius, but Jordon’s smile was wiped from his face when the Spade K came on the turn. The river was the Diamond 4 and Jurgevicius quadrupled up, while Jordon was down to his last 10,000 chips with ten minutes left before late registration and re-entry closes.
