Kfir Ivgi Builds Stack Early On Day 2

Jan 12, 2018

Kfir Ivgi entered on Day 2 and took the seat that formerly belonged to Julian Thomas. Several familiar faces are over on table 228 including WPT Champions Club member Tyler Patterson, Ole Schemion, Tobias Mathaess, Teunis Kooij and Paul Newey.

Ivgi opened to 2,000 from under the gun and Patterson called before Schemion three-bet to 7,800. Both Ivgi and Patterson came along and the trip checked the flop of Heart QSpade 10Heart 3. On the Diamond 6 turn, Ivgi took the lead with a bet of 15,000 and Patterson quickly folded. Schemion took some more time, prompting Ivgi to say “If you have to think, I am good,” and Schemion released his cards into the muck a few moments later.

Other notables that moved up in the leader board include Johnny Nedved and Yuriy Boyko, while Michael Sklenicka dropped below the starting stack. The screens show 176 players out of 333 entries remaining and the registration is open for another half an hour.

Ole Schemion – 142,000
Johnny Nedved – 140,000
Yuris Boyko – 115,000
Tyler Patterson – 70,000
Kfir Ivgi – 51,000
Michael Sklenicka – 28,000
