Updated Chip Counts

Dec 8, 2017

Sarah Herzali
PMU.fr team pro Sarah Herzali (pictured above) along with former WPT National Brussels winner Sebastien Ta have been eliminated. Herzali got her remaining chips in with king-jack against an opponent’s ace-queen to bust. However, Gregory Janin has increased his chip count to 190,000, matching the figure of Day 1a chip leader Ekrem Sanioglu.

Other stacks around the room include Michel Leibgorin (125,000), Parham Ahoor (115,000), Jan Boubli (65,000), Leonardo Armino (55,000), Alain Goldberg (40,000), and Etienne Grosjean (38,000).

Johan Guilbert

Meanwhile, Johan Guilbert (pictured above) raised from early position to 2,000 and the big blind defended. The pair checked the Spade JDiamond QDiamond 8 flop, and the turn came Spade 2. The big blind bet 2,500 and Guilbert called.

The river was the Spade 10 and Guilbert folded in position to a bet of 3,500. Guilbert was left with 13,000 to try and chip up over the final three levels of the day.
