Photo:  In addition to the prize money, the winner of the WPT L.A. Poker Classic will receive a Hublot King Power Unico Carbon and Red watch, a pair of Rose Gold Wireless Over-Ear Element Headphones from Monster, an L.A. Poker Classic Remington trophy, and a WPT Champions Trophy. The winner’s name will also be added to the WPT Champions Cup, alongside all the other champions from all 15 seasons of the World Poker Tour.

With 521 players entering this $10,000 buy-in event ($9,600 + $400), the total prizepool is $5,001,600, and first prize is just a bit more than $1 million.

The prizepool was designed to pay one out of every eight players. With 66 players getting paid from a field of 521, that represents 12.7% of the field. The Money Bubble should burst tomorrow (Day 3) in the afternoon or early evening.
