Bracelet Winner Michael Wang Eliminated By Kent Mosur

May 2, 2016

Michael Wang, who last year won the World Series of Poker Event #2: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em for his first gold bracelet, moves all in from early position for his last 9,300 and Kent Mosur calls from the cutoff. Ronald Lauzon comes along from the big blind, but winds up check-folding to Mosur’s all-in bet on the Club 9Diamond 10Club 3 flop.

Wang: Spade JClub 8
Mosur: Club KClub 10

Wang hits his open-ender on the Club 7 turn, but unfortunately that same card gives Mosur a flush. The meaningless Spade K river makes Wang’s elimination official, and he makes a beeline toward the exit while Mosur is pushed the pot.

Kent Mosur – 100,000 (50 bbs)
Michael Wang – Eliminated
