Day 4 of the partypoker WPT UK Main Event has ended, and we have a cracking final table in store for you tomorrow.

It started and ended with Billy Chattaway. Better known for his exploits online, Chattaway started like the proverbial house on fire, eliminating three of the first six opponents on Day 4, but he failed to make the cut bubbling the final table after being ousted by Fraser Bellamy in the last hand of the day.

The final table chip leader is Iaron Lightbourne. His magic moment came when Dominic Cullen called for his tournament life on JsTh7h holding ace-king, with Lightbourne sitting on top set. He cruised through Day 4, and will be difficult to push off the top spot when play resumes tomorrow.

The final table will start at 2 pm local time, and full hole card coverage is available via WPT Live Stream on a 30-minute delay.

Meet the Final Six

Seat 1: Craig McCorkell – 1,685,000

WPT UK Main EventWith over $2m in live tournament earnings, there is nobody at this final table with more big money final table experience than Craig McCorkell.

In 2010, he bubbled the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final final table in Monte Carlo. In 2012, he won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. In 2014, he finished 13th in the WSOP Main Event and third in the EPT11 London High Roller, and last year made his second appearance at a WSOP final table finishing fifth – Iaron Lightbourne also featured finishing second.

Despite McCorkell’s incredible record, this is his first cash in a World Poker Tour (WPT) event.

There were two hands of note that aided McCorkell’s rise to the final table; both of then involved Robert Davies.

In Level 23, McCorkell won a million chip pot when gaining river value on a board of AsAh6hThQh holding AcQd against Davies holding pocket tens.

Then in Level 24, McCorkell avoided an expensive trap door when he managed to wriggle away from a 1.5m chip pot when all-in with pocket sevens against the pocket queens of Davies in a three-way all-in involving the short stacked Adam Daniel. The run down turned into a wheel ensuring the massive side pot was split down the middle.

McCorkell starts the final table in fifth place with 42bb.

Seat 2: Andrew Seden – 2,390,000

WPT UK Main EventAndrew Seden has earned over $400 in live tournament earnings.

In 2009, he reached a WSOP final table. In 2012, he made the final table of the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour (GUKPT) at the Vic, and last year achieved his best score to date when he won an event in Austria for €99,500. His final tables opponent’s in that event included Ismael Bojang and Fedor Holz.

Seddon breezed through the penultimate day without having to hoist his sails. He picked his spots well, stayed out of trouble and was responsible for the elimination of Robert Davies when he found pocket aces at an opportune moment.

Seden starts the final table fourth in chips with 59bb.

Seat 3: Chi Zhang – 2,470,000

WPT UK Main EventChi Zhang has earned over $100,000 in live tournament earnings.

His most notable achievement to date is a third place finish in the United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Main Event in Bristol a few months ago.

Zhang continues an impressive run of form for people of Chinese descent in this festival after Mian Wei won the High Roller and Chin Chai Koh finished third in the WPT500 event.

Zhang started the penultimate day as the chip leader. He started as the only player to breach the 2m chip mark.

The rest of the table caught him as the day wore on until an enormous pot in Level 24 saw him retake the chip lead. Zhang was all-in with Joseph Townsend on a Ks7c5c flop holding AsKc and Townsend searching for a flush draw that never arrived. Zhang’s position at the final table was never in jeopardy from that moment.

Chi Zhang starts the final table third in chips with 61bb.

Seat 4:  – 2,900,000

WPT UKWith close to $800,000 in live tournament earnings, Iaron Lightbourne is one of the favourites to win the title here today.

Last year he finished 22nd in the WSOP Main Event, 15th in the WPT Borgata Open and ended the year by winning the Unibet Open Main Event in London. During the Summer, he came mightily close to winning a WSOP bracelet when he lost against Idan Raviv in heads-up action. Craig McCorkell also featured in that final table, so the two will know each other’s games well.

He peers recognise him as one of the toughest UK born players in the game and he strolled through the penultimate day picking up chips from the get go. He eliminated the Spaniard Breixo Gonzalez, and then took full advantage of a Dominic Cullen hero call with ace-king when sat holding a set of jacks on JsTh7h.

Lightbourne starts the final table as the chip leader with 72bb.

Seat 5: Russell Betts – 1,105,000

WPT UKWhen it comes to live tournament experience, Russell Betts is the least experienced player at this final table.

He is a Dusk till Dawn regular and his biggest score to date came a few days ago when he finished 38th in the WPT500. He is also freerolling after winning a seat in the WPT UK Main Event courtesy of that finish.

Betts started the penultimate day in fine fashion after eliminating the short stacked Mitchell Johnson. The critical hand came when he stopped the supercharged Billy Chattaway from claiming another scalp when his KcTc managed to turn a ten to beat the dominating AsKh of his opponent – a hand that seemed to result in Chattaway losing his way.

Betts starts as the short stack with 27bb.

Seat 6: Fraser Bellamy – 2,655,000

WPT UK Main EventWith over $600,000 in live tournament earnings, Fraser Bellamy is another player who begins the final table amongst the favourites.

Like Betts, Bellamy won a seat for this event after finishing 40th in the WPT500 a few days ago. He is a ferocious competitor who is unafraid of dropping the hammer as he showed on numerous occasions during the penultimate day to pick up a series of large pots without a showdown.

He has won the Dusk till Dawn £300 Deepstack on two separate occasions. In 2010, he won the £1,000 buy-in Monte Carlo topping a final table that included Simon Deadman and Jack Ellwood, and earlier this year he achieved his biggest score by winning the £1,000 buy-in Sky Poker UK Championships for £200,000 again in this same venue.

It was Bellamy who eliminated the talented Billy Chattaway to set up this final table,

Bellamy starts second in chips with 66bb.
