With five tables left, a look at who’s where:

Table 1:

Three established veterans– /X340//Farzad Bonyadi/, Jim Worth and John D’Agostino— headline here, with D’Ags holding the big stack. Look out for online pro Steve Black, whose charitable efforts I wrote about earlier in the week.

Table 2:

How can you not fear John Juanda with over half a million chips? As if that weren’t a steep enough mountain for the other players to climb, they have to contend with having both Allen Cunningham and Melissa Hayden at the same table. The fact they’re a married couple has to be putting some fea in the other players’ hearts.

Table 3:

Peter Valente has the big stack at what appears to be the weakest of the five tables, holding T422,000 to start the day. He’s joined by Eugene Todd, who started the day by doubling up.

Table 4:

Mark Newhouse is having the time of his life, as well he should now that he’s added to his stack, massive though it already was. He’s joined by Canadian cash pro /7854//Jason Sagle/ and two familliar small stacks: Edward Moncada and Brad Booth

Table 5:

Chip leader Marc Karam is sitting right next to twenty-year old teammate Kristian Ulriksen, which has to be a concern. Joining them is another kid who couldn’t play in the states, /X344//Vivek Rajkumar/ and the always intimidating Nam Le
