Level 9 Begins; Registration is Now Closed

The players return from break to begin Level 9, with increased blinds of 800-1,600 and a 200 ante. 

Registration is now closed, and the tournament clock shows a total field size of 195 players. We haven’t confirmed that number officially yet, because a few stacks have been placed in the field for players who haven’t arrived yet — Howard Lederer, Joe Cassidy, and Alan "The Usher" Sass. Andy Bloch showed up shortly before the break and has taken his seat.

These players will receive a full starting stack of 100,000 in chips, which is currently worth 62.5 big blinds. Now it’s up to them to make the most out of this tournament.
