The Season XV partypoker World Poker Tour® final table was set on Saturday, and just six players remained from the field of 522 entries. Nabil Cardoso bagged the chip lead on Day 3, and he was the man best positioned to take home the title and £200,000 top prize.

Cardoso’s lead was a big one. He bagged up 4.965 million, with Christopher Yong and his 3.875 million in second place. They were joined by Maxime Swennen (2.345 million), Seamus Cahill (1.93 million), Luis Rodriguez Cruz (1.64 million), and Alex Lindop (755,000).

The day began with 61 players left, but only 54 would reach the money. Robin Fisher finished as the tournament’s “bubble boy,” and from there the in-the-money eliminations mounted.

Some of the notables to finish in the money, but fall short of the final table were Ludovic Geilich (14th), Season XIV Hublot WPT Player of the Year Mike Shariati (22nd), Patrick Leonard (27th), and Niall Farrell (51st).

Busting in 10th place was Ben Winsor, who won the WPT500 UK event just days ago for £150,000. He scooped another £16,000 for this run.

Another WPT500 champion, Andreas Olympios, who won the WPT500 this past summer at Aria in Las Vegas for $260,000, finished in ninth place for £20,000.

Luke Howard was the final player to bust to set the official WPT final table and close out the night.
