Prahlad Friedman is a 31-year-old professional poker player who has been playing since before Moneymaker's big win -- in fact, Friedman won a WSOP bracelet a few weeks before Moneymaker. Fans of televised poker might recognize Friedman from the raps that he did on a few different episodes of ESPN's WSOP coverage.
Friedman has come close to a few breakout performances, including a second-place finish to Chris "Jesus" Ferguson in an ESPN-televised 2005 WSOP Circuit Championship and two top-100 finishes in the WSOP Main Event (20th in 2006 and 64th this year).
Friedman is married to fellow professional poker player Dee Luong Friedman, and he has a stepson, Michael.
